Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

I'm a longtime Chrome user but a couple days ago, my browser started acting up, so I downloaded Firefox to use until I could fix the problem. I've heard that Firefox has made some pretty significant upgrades recently and sure enough, I'm finding that I like it quite a bit. Now I can't decide which I wanna use as my main browser.

I switch off between them depending on what works best. My last computer didn't like firefox much so I only used it when I had to. On this laptop Chrome is pretty fucky so I mostly use Firefox. They're both good browsers.

@UndeadPrivateer I like Chrome a lot but it seems to go through fits where it freezes like a bastard. I'm liking Firefox a lot right now but it is having a few issues playing certain video files.

@BlueMetalChick That's literally the exact problem Firefox was having that lead me to switching on my previous computer. I feel like it was some sort of driver issue but I'm not certain.

@UndeadPrivateer I was trying to watch videos on the NHL website and it wouldn't load them, or when it did, the audio would play in double.

@BlueMetalChick That's fucking frustrating. This makes me feel like one of those shitty customer service reps, but did you check if your flash and java are up to date and fully functional?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@UndeadPrivateer I did, but I think the problem is that a lot of browsers have begun blocking Adobe Flash by default, and it's causing problems. I still play Flash web games (and I swear to fuck if you make fun of me for that...) and it's frustrating to have to repeatedly tell my browser that it's ok to run Flash.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@BlueMetalChick Hm, yeah, makes me think that what's happening is you're having redundant instances of flash or java running simultaneously for some reason.

I'm one of those that grew up playing games on Newgrounds, so no making fun will happen there. :P

@UndeadPrivateer FUCKIN' NEWGROUNDS WAS MY HOOD BACK IN THE DAY.
I was addicted to those stick figure battle arena videos like it was goddamn heroin or something.

@BlueMetalChick Hahahaha saaaame. I loved those things.

@UndeadPrivateer I have a very important question for you.

Did you ever play Submachine?
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@BlueMetalChick I don't believe I did, honestly.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@UndeadPrivateer Submachine is, if you ask me, the single best point-and-click game ever created. The detail, the substance, the incredibly complex and bizarre story line...it's the creation of Polish animator and web designer Mateusz Skutnik. Submachine follows the adventures of an unnamed character as he or she travels through the eponymous Submachine, an otherworldly, other-dimensional realm of mysterious origin and function. The Submachine is like a world outside our world, or maybe a world within it. You never get a clear answer for what or where Submachine is, only that it's a growing, living entity in its own way. The space mimics what we know as being real, like rooms and objects and so on, but it literally grows, gets bigger, more complex, and messier at it develops. The older parts of the Submachine are prone to deterioration, they get cluttered and disorganized, pipes grow through walls and wires cling to surfaces, people get lost easy.

It's an incredible experience.

@BlueMetalChick I'm seriously curious about this now. I am going to take note of this and check it out.

@UndeadPrivateer You can find all ten installments of the game posted on NotDoppler as well as Kongregate. There were three spinoffs as well.

Here's the series list:
Submachine (the first game was just called "Submachine" with nothing else on it)
Submachine 2: The Lighthouse
Subbmachine 3: The Loop
Submachine 4: The Lab
Submachine 5: The Root
Submachine 6: The Edge
Submachine 7: The Core
Submachine 8: The Plan
Submachine 9: The Temple
Submachine 10: The Exit

And the three spinoffs were:
Submachine 1: The Basement (a remake of the first Submachine game but with more detail; the rooms are rearranged but the puzzled are identical)
Submachine 0: The Ancient Adventure (a fan-made tribute that was so well done, Skutnik included it in the lineup)
Submachine: FLF (a fan-made collaboration worked on by a group of people)
