EPA chief Scott Pruitt: Global warming may be a good thing

Okay, is this guy brain dead or what?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
What people freaking out about Russia or "shithole countries" or whatever else are not getting is all of those are a side show. The greatest damage Trump is doing is in regulatory capture. Every single regulatory body in the US is now run by the industries they're supposed to regulate.

I'm sure they're working on the idea that the more you perpetuate a lie the more likely folk are to forget the truth.

depends how he defines "good". if it includes ridding earth of all human life, then he's not wrong :D
Salix75 · 46-50, F
@frequentlyme mother earth doesn't, that's for sure :) We are egotistical to think we (humanity) will be here forever. As a species, we are on the clock, one way or another, be it natural (the sun eventually dying) or as a result of our own actions

@Salix75 Yep, but I'm not exactly in a rush to hurry it along.

@frequentlyme nor I :)

Wot?????? 😳😳😳😳
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
Yep...warming is associated with higher crop yields. Historians point to Medieval Warming period, from about 900 AD to 1400 AD, as the primary factor for the Renaissance in Europe.

I hope his home ends up underwater or in a permanent drought zone
But maybe it will be a good thing!
frequentlyme · 70-79, M
@Pikachu So, ocean die offs, rising seas inundating cities, droughts where land is fertile, more pollution, and, and, and... yah, I'm not thinking it's a good idea at all.
