He's a "recent convert" tho'... having already nearly killed himself with his earlier version based on round earth technology. So uhh... I'm thinking publicity stunt, although, by all accounts it's not netted him much - so ehh, I don't know, maybe media interview payments, and those all important YouTube eyeballs? I wonder if the last attempt was real, probably need to see the video :p
