@IAbandonedShip Opera is now Chinese-owned, in a country which doesn't have a good track record of respecting privacy rights, nor human rights for that matter. I stopped using Opera when the sale went through in May, 2017.

I tried to use Vivaldi, which was established by former Opera Software employees, but it uses the Blink rendering engine as does Chrome, so it still has many of the same issues as Chrome. It has crashed twice on macOS just today.

As a result, I've mostly switched to Firefox on all platforms I use.
