Mice are mutating to become immune to poison.

Rats are intelligent, I dunno how intelligent mice are but humans sure are dumb. Look, things gonna evolve. It's kinda what happened to corn, they engineered a strain of corn to be resistant to some worm and that worm evolved to be resistant to the resistant corn. It seems that mother nature wants everything to succeed so whenever we kill things, over centuries or decades or through micro evolutions, things evolve and learn, become different to beat that which is beating them.

This has happened thousands of times. I don't really call humans dumb because they are stupid, they are just dumb cos they act like it's the first time this happened. Nah you dumb idiot, it's happened like hundred of times before why you surprised now

Like my god what is it with people. I haven't gone to Princeton or Harvard, have no science degree and can just sit back and explain why it is happening as it's happened in a 1000 different ways so many times.

Nothing ever dies, it just evolves because it learns dum dums.

I do not think rodents (and insects) are becoming immune, I think what is happening is that pest control toxins are becoming so weak (cause it costs less) that they are useless.

I was at my son's recently, they had a wasp nest, I sprayed it with Spectracide and the wasps laughed.

But for mice, there are still snap traps or if someone wants some entertainment, glue traps.

Three things. Everything changes. Time can only go forwards. Everything occurs in cycles.

It's actually a existential philosophy.
Must point out each part has a scientific basis.

BTW none of the above is not of my own doing. Though it might seem that I have been pushing it a bit. I have however given thought to expanding this philosophy onto chaos theory.

Hence myself saying: "Order comes out of chaos".
Why didn’t you post this in the science section under biology? SW doesn’t categorize the topics properly. Evolution is a true science, not a religious position.

@BlueSkyKing @SatanBurger FYI You can create your own group.

I didn't like that they put philosophy under the science category. So I created one myself under the history group. 😈

My group:

Unfortunately I can only create five groups. I'm maxed out.

If they refuse to put things in proper order, the users themselves can create pure chaos out of their own group hierarchy.

The admins logic is seriously failing with that reasoning. More likely they just don't want to move it and gave that as an excuse.

I do believe that VIP can create ten groups.

At least that's what they said when they started the group creation. It's not listed as a VIP benefit though.

@DeWayfarer how do you create your own groups I never knew we had that option
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger First see if this says that if you are able.

I can't show the instructions, simply because I am no longer able. I've maxed out.

The admins post on the topic is still available though.

I keep saying I wasn't calling humans dumb but after reading what I wrote, I was clearly calling humans dumb 🥴

The same thing is occurring in farm agricultural crops where traditional herbicide is no longer effective on killing weeds. Like you say, the weeds mutate and become something else that is tolerant to the new variations in herbicide weed control. Even doubling the dose causes the weeds to adapt to a double dose and now nothing short of a double dose has any affect on farm weeds anymore.

The only thing that truly works is tilling the land for weed control, but nobody wants to spend the money on fuel to run the tractor. They'd rather spend the money on useless weed control like RoundUP.. which is made by Monsanto, the people who make genetically modified crops like soybeans.

@swirlie I wish I could say I was surprised lol. The only way to combat anything is to figure out ways of doing so without triggering something else's evolution. I'm not sure if it can even be done cos it almost sounds like a paradox if you're talking about using technology.
