but one day she(he) tells you that she(he) does drugs recreationally, and isnt planning on stopping. What would u do?

Honestly my opinion would really depend what drugs they are doing, how often and where.

FWIW my kid's father has a history of recreational use and it only was a problem on rare occasions.
