In the Bible we are told:

If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.

This passage often comes to mind when I see the pro catastrophe crowd creating another panic. Be it covid or climate change or any other number of panics the movers and shakers want to induce. Wise words. If the predicted events does not happen or come true then the predictor was wrong. So far climate change predictions have a perfect record of failure. 100% wrong. Hmmmm So why are we destroying our economy and way of life again?

@jshm2 Prophecy is simply about things to come. If they do not happen in the time frame of the prophecy then the prophecy was bunk. So simple even an idiot could understand. So what is keeping you from grasping the concept?

@Stereoguy The real question that needs to be answered is if the government is following the science or if science is getting its marching orders from the government. I tend to believe that science is following and not leading.
