Is talent genetic?

So I was speaking with my sister, who told me we are all copies of past humans, especially our parents, copy and pastes especially when we age, have children, ect ect
Genetics plays a big part, so those that are talented musically, sports wise, creative wise, is it really just good genetics, was someone in their bloodline the same, or random, I do believe your environment and exposure is needed for this to work, but the actual talent is genetic?
This whole anyone can do anything is cap, some people are born singers, actors, farmers, artists, I can try all of those to my best and still suck.

Talent is genetic. But I would only include singers and artists from you list and not actors and farmers, as those are societal traits. Like anyone can be made an actor or farmer, but not a singer or a musician. Art is inherent, but science is developed.

But "Anyone can do anything" just means that the world is free and open for anyone to do anything, and does not mean that any person can become anything. For instance one astrologer told me that I would have become a great doctor especially a surgeon, but I have become a software analyst and a surgeon in it, when it comes to solving problems and fixing systems.

So it is all in how we interpret.
