Biblical discipline is the best for raising children in the responsible way

If the discipline is severe or abusive that's not love and only leads to rebellion in the future.
You quote only half of the story the Bible also talks about not frustrating the child and about guiding and teaching them.
Perhaps, you don't mean abuse,but some people will use this post to justify child abuse.
Whatever we do it is to be done in love.

I agree, but love is an essential part of it. One reads here of extremely severe punishments given in the name of God, to adults as well as children, where no love seems to be involved.

I get maintenance spankings on Sunday before church every week.
I have to pray Our Lord while getting it.
Afterwards in church I have to wear a schoolgirl outfit, dress but no panties to make me feel the hard bench on my sore bum. I kneel a lot during mass like a good catholic girl.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that they are ignored . . about one in every three people on this site is obsessed with the idea of beating children.
