I agree, but love is an essential part of it. One reads here of extremely severe punishments given in the name of God, to adults as well as children, where no love seems to be involved.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that they are ignored . . about one in every three people on this site is obsessed with the idea of beating children.

Dad believes that too

I get maintenance spankings on Sunday before church every week.
I have to pray Our Lord while getting it.
Afterwards in church I have to wear a schoolgirl outfit, dress but no panties to make me feel the hard bench on my sore bum. I kneel a lot during mass like a good catholic girl.

CP should be used more in the home, educational system and possibly the judicial system.

One of the many reasons I left the church. It’s just an excuse to abuse children. 😞
