I Witnessed Corporal Punishment At School

In the UK I doubt there are many boys, particularly, who grew up in the 1950s and '60s (like me) who didn't see at least one of their classmates whacked with a gymshoe by a particularly sadistic PE teacher!

It's a choice every parent has to make. There is no fence sitting here. People clearly fall in two groups those who believe in it and those who don't. This along with a few other subjects are not something that people tend to change their mind about.
But either way for or against, it is the parents right to choose. I don't feel the need to ever apologize for what I believe or how I was raised. It has been effective since the beginning of time and always will be.
