Curious to Experience Corporal Punishment
I was a very quiet well behaved pupil at school and was generally ignored by most of the more extrovert boys in my class who tended to regard me as a "softy" or a "goody goody" I heard details of canings from boys who had misbehaved and had to visit the headmaster and developed a strange curiosity to find out more. At that time I was one of the few boys who had even avoided the slipper. When I was 13 one of my friends was caned for leaving the school without permission and he showed me the marks on his bottom. That somehow strengthened my curiosity and I decided that I wanted to get the cane.
An opportunity arose a few weeks later when a path at the rear of the school that I used to go home was put out of bounds for maintenance. I decided to risk using it and was caught with two first year boys. We had to see the headmaster the next morning and received a stern telling off. We expected a punishment and he gave a choice - detention after school or two strokes of the cane. We had to go outside and choose while he took a phone call.
The younger boys could not decide but I told them that I was going to choose the cane and eventually they decided the same. When the door opened we went in and gave our answer and I was told to go outside again with one of the other boys. We could hear what was being said clearly but soon heard two loud whacks and the boy came out rubbing his bottom.
I was next and saw a cane for the first time. It was thinner that I thought with a crook handle. I was ordered to bend over and look straight ahead. It was not long before he tapped the cane on my bottom and then gave me two quick strokes. It was a few seconds before I felt anything but then a sharp sting went across my bottom. The marks lasted about three days.
I had settled my curiosity and once it became known that I had been caned, I was more accepted in my class.
