Yep, got it at home and got it at school. I went to six schools and got everything from Nuns smacking the backs of legs through to hard canings. In my era, cp was normal, expected and accepted. I've never held resentment or animosity about it, after all, I did what I knew I shouldn't, so I could hardly complain when I was punished.

@Caned4doz my experiences were very similar to yours as was my reaction. We knew the rules and the consequences if we broke them.

@jackcros In many cases we decided the risk was worth it.

@Sharon it is said that teenage boys have no real sense of risk and consequences. I wasn’t aware that this also applied to girls 😊

@jackcros I think teen boys were well aware of risks and consequences. It was just that they were willing to take the risks if only for the pure thrill of the escapade.

@Caned4doz I think they were more optimistic about the chances of getting caught “it won’t happen to me.”

Matybe not every girl but not every boy either. I think it all depends on what they've been brought up to expect.

@Caned4doz All the girls in my cricle of friends were the same in that respect. We all thought we wouldn't get caught, no matter how many times we were proven wrong.
