I Got Punished At School

@GentleLucille If theh were the wrong colour or type or even if your shoes were muddy. Also I had them taken away from me for talking in class

@KatieJ OK, I see. We had to take off our shoes if we got them muddy, to save the carpet.

@GentleLucille Did you get to keep socks?

@KatieJ If they were wet, they came off too and were put on the radiator to dry 🙂 Also, if they were not in the school colour or style we had to take them off.

@GentleLucille Same here well sometimes I would deliberately wear purple socks and flash them to the teacher so she would tell be to take them off 😉 I just preferred being barefoot

@GentleLucille yeah it was pretty cool wiggling my toes in lessons that weren't PE

@KatieJ I liked drama because we always had to take off our shoes and socks before going into the drama studio. But sometimes a bit awkward if you were wearing tights 😒

@GentleLucille I hardly ever wore tights but drama for me was the same strictly bare feet, it was so funny seeing 30 pairs or shoes and socks lined up in the corridor

@KatieJ It was nice, we could move around much more easily 🙂

It makes sense, far less noise on the stage 🙂 Did you do dance at school? That was another lesson we had to do in bare feet 🙂
