Yep! Till the day I left home for college. Then when I moved back in with my mother after i dropped out (very rarely)Live under your parents roof deal with their rules 🤷‍♂️.

I had exactly the same until 21, when I finished university. Enjoyed home comforts, but live under a "our home-our rules" regime, which included traditional corporal punishment for more serious issues. In retrospect, it didn't do me any harm, and probably did me some good.

@1olderguy20 In my case, true on one account certainly: brother ceased being spanked around 16. And when we were both punished together - say for fighting - I always felt I got it harder. If i ever dared complain (VERY risky) the fact he was younger (just 13 months!!!!) was rolled out.

made the mistake of telling her yea right I’m 20 mom you couldn’t spank me if you tried. I was over her knee in about 2 seconds. She wouldn’t let me up till the movie we were watching was over and kept randomly swatting me. Lesson learned lol. I still don’t mess with her
