I Witnessed Corporal Punishment At School
It was abolished a few years after I left and I thought it would lead to worse standards of behavior. I feel I was right. At least the good kids could get on with lessons and bullies feared authority then.

its not just the schools its the parents to as they have no way to enforce the rules at home.

@MartinII that is true. I spanked my 4 but i was always careful to never go over the top. There bottoms was very red but no lasting marks
