I Witnessed Corporal Punishment At School

It was abolished a few years after I left and I thought it would lead to worse standards of behavior. I feel I was right. At least the good kids could get on with lessons and bullies feared authority then.

1. 90% of school learning, Will never be used. Reading, writing, addition useful. The rest ??????
2. Perception is just that perception, many teachers are biased.
3. To punish, if perception is biased, to place a child in a desk, then ask them to sit for hours on end, teaching subjects they will never use, is insane.
4. To punish, to harm, under the disguise of more dysfunction.

Real upright behavior comes from the family home, up to the age of 5, the child watches and learns from mum and dad. If mum and dad are shit heads, then to hit at school teaches no more, than to lash out.

The child learns from their mum and dad, they are the real teachers of behavior.

True dissaplin begins at home, that is the parents issue, not the teachers at school.

Reading, writing is for the school.
