I got an Aboriginal Cadetship for Enrolled Nursing. The cadetship was to pay for the entire course which was sweet. Unfortunately. The hospital I was doing it through. Put me on the ward at the very beginning of the course. The funding was used to pay my salary and once the funding was used up they said. "Too bad try again next year." and dropped me.
Also. Since it was down through open learning. All us students had to meet up at another town when we had exams. We were told before hand that accommodation was supplied and what course work we'd be tested on. Well, all 12 of us got to share one hotel room with one queen bed. And they tested us on 4 other subjects we weren't ready for.
