I had to convince 15 years old today not to drop out of school.

The teenager has convinced me to never teach again.

Joking, I did manage to talk him into staying but darn it he is so stubborn and unrealistic.

I had to do so much brainwashing.

I quit school when I was 16, the legal age, but I let my father and the high school principal scare me into staying. I wish I had quit. I hated every moment I ever spent in a classroom. And I'm a college grad.

You have other ways to get certifications and enter the job world and build a career. You have no shortage of academics and scientists.
