for 12 years (grades 1 through 12) i hated labour day weekend....

did you like going back to school? i hated it and about the only positive thing about this time of year was i always got new clothes/shoes

That's how I felt back then. The kids here now start a week and half before labor day which really sucks for them

@Gibbon i think school still starts sept 2 here but i think they have a few extra days off a year from when i went to school because the teachers nowadays are stressed out...like 2 months summer holidays, spring break, christmas break, easter..etc, etc is not enough time off 🙄

@Gibbon i could always tell which teachers did it for the love of "teaching" and the ones who did it for a "paycheck" ...our teachers here are actually paid pretty well here but i've heard stories that some teachers in the states are not...same with some police organizations

I hated every moment I ever spent in a classroom. I wept bitter tears every Labor Day because terminal boredom began the next day.

I didn't hate it. I got to see all of my friends that I hadn't seen all summer. Of course after the first day I was ready for the end of the school year. Lol!!! 😂😂😂
