Religion doesn't belong in the schools.
How would you like Hinduism being taught? 🤷🏻♂
There's multiple deities in Hinduism!

@wildbill83 tell that to Catholics! 🤣
Even they say no deities! Not a single one by Catholics.
Yet even I could do better than that!

@DeWayfarer Evolution is religion. Do try harder.

@DeWayfarer Religion has nothing to do with morals. It is simply a belief held to by faith. I no longer have enough faith to be an evolutionist. It simply doesn't work.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 bull! All religions have morals! Even Wicca!
"As long as it harms none, do as you will" is the primary moral of Wicca!

@DeWayfarer Not according to the dictionary. Nice of you to continue to show your ignorance of the English language.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 wrong! And you can't prove it otherwise!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@DeWayfarer Go read Merriam Webster's 4th definition of 'religion'. Your argument is with them not me.

Notice it can't give a religion without morals!

It's challenging to identify a religion that lacks morals entirely, as most religions provide some form of ethical guidance or moral framework for their followers. However, some belief systems, such as certain interpretations of secular philosophies or ideologies, may not be centered around traditional moral concepts associated with organized religions. Instead, they might focus on individualism or subjective interpretations of right and wrong. It's important to note that morality can be complex and subjective, and what one group considers moral, another may not.

@DeWayfarer Yawn. Who cares. The word religion has many meanings. Some religions don't have a God. Others do. Some have morals and some don't.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 you can't give a example any more than and AI can after redefining the question twice in a attempt to include ANY type of religion!

@hippyjoe1955 it doesn't call itself a religion! Only the religious say that. And an AI would mostly certainly include atheism if it could!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@DeWayfarer I don't care if it calls itself the hokey pokey. It is a religion by all definitions you want use.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 your religion prevents you from even thinking anything different!
You have made up your mind and that's all that matters to you!

@DeWayfarer Hello sunshine. When I was much younger I was a staunch atheist/evolutionist. In fact the reason I began to explore Spirituality is because of my scientific observation. We were expending huge sums of money and brain power trying to get oil out of dirt. One of the ways that was tried was to see if we could find a bacteria or biological process that we could use. It struck me that here we were doing all this 'creating' and here were simple little cells magnitudes more complex that what we were trying to do and that little cell was doing things that we could only dream of doing. The penny dropped. I couldn't hold to the religion of evolution any longer. It still doesn't and it is getting less and less likely an explanation the more science is learning about life forms.

@DeWayfarer I already showed that it does. If not survival of the fittest then what is the driving force behind 'evolution'?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 that is not a moral!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@DeWayfarer Yes it is. Your lack English skills are showing again. Moral is simply guiding principles. Do try to use a dictionary for once in your life.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 no it isn't! It's a conclusion by a few evolutionist, yet not even there is it by all evolutionists!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@DeWayfarer So you don't believe evolution is survival of fittest? What is it then?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 some evolutionists have said it's cyclical! Yet even there it's not ALL evolutionists. It's just another conclusion based on a theory!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@DeWayfarer Oooo so how did the cycle start? Why did the Big Bang take place? Why is there red shift in starlight? The lamest reason out there is materialism. Material did not beget material. Simply too complicated. Here is a little math for you to think about. So according to science there are 1 E17 seconds in 13 billion years. There are 1 E 90 atoms in the known universe. The chance of getting all the right bits into all the right place at just the right time in order to assemble the simplest self sustaining life form is 1 E 42,000. There simply isn't enough time or atoms for life to have evolved.
