I had a bad experience doing public speaking at school. I had to talk about a pen for five minutes and it was really hard work. ☹☹☹

I once had to give a speech at a wedding in front of 300 people, but I had no idea until they introduced me. I had nothing prepared and couldn't think of a single anecdote to relay.

Even though I started out my junior year of high school with stage fright, speech and debate classes helped me quite a lot to open up.
