Got thoughts on public education?

I work in the system as a substitute teacher, for two counties in the state of Florida. (Which has some of the best public schools in the country.)

Boys and girls, remember this: Yes I am a Rush Limbaugh/Ronald Reagan mainstream CONSERVATIVE (like most of America.) But 99 percent of what I know about public education (a) I have learned it from TEACHERS who have been on the job all their lives and (b) experience of working at it since 1999. In the early days (and even THESE days) I sit in the teacher's lounge during lunch and I shut the fck up. I listen to the teachers and learn a lot.
