What happened to the school bully from your high school?

I went to an all boys high school and there was more than one bully. The one I remember antagonised me in class and that lead to a fight and we both got a serious caning for that. I loathed him for that, and I expect he felt the same about me, but we had the sense to keep away from each other thereafter. About two years after I finished school I found out he was killed in a car accident. As much as I hated him, I still felt stunned that he died...so young.
