Happy Teachers Day 🌹

Teachers are blunt now, they tell students what to gift them. Wow! 😱😱😱 During my time, I don’t mind much. It’s up for students to show appreciation whatever it is even nothing. Parents pockets be ready lol. Colleagues eager to find out who’s who gets the most gift lol work esteem hurts they came up and made it up. It’s not even discreet but announced 😝 Happy teachers day 🌹

@Sepia What kind of teacher? - you taught … in English? Cause that’s one poorly written post.

At any rate, if you really were a teacher you know how hard they work. And you also know you should not paint them all with the same brush. They do deserve appreciation.

@DoubleRings I don’t teach English.. It isn’t my second language too. I bet you can’t speak my language lol … paint them with the same brush?? Ughh I’d been there. It takes humility and bravery to accept things. Bluntly asking for expensive gifts? Do they still have integrity? And these are students are from public schools..most parents can’t hardly afford expenses.. who are these teachers to demand?

I’ve worked in public education for over 20 years. I’ve never heard any teacher ask for gifts much less demand them. @Sepia
