I programmed some bouncing balls in my math course! Some sad stuff too though

We're going to add some gravity to it as well later on.

It's a fun little exercise but my group is really struggling. They think these later labs are getting too difficult while I think they're easy, so my two other lab members are rightly getting disappointed with this course and I can't help but feel a bit like the bad guy here. I spent 4 hours trying to get them on track today, 2 of those hours I prompted them to write some code by giving hints but to no or little avail... It was meant to be a helpful and kind gesture but it had the effect of taunting. 😐

They're good champs though, they're fighting on but I really want to motivate them. Any tips?

Maybe let them know, that you are challenging them to help them.

@calicuz I think they get that part but they're not saying much so it's a really weird situation
What programme did you use?

@V00doo What now?! 😣
@MartinTheFirst Have a play. Its java based.

@V00doo I'm more of a vanilla guy, the moment i got the balls bouncing it was a little bit of magic 🤗

@SW-User I'm trying my hardest to simplify my ideas, I draw figures and point...

@MartinTheFirst tbh I've been on both sides, like if i knew it better i did the heavy lifting and when i didn't, my project partner made it easy for me

@SW-User Me too! But when I get stuck I start to ask questions and I get really into it.. but these two just get demotivated and sit there in silence
