Why do girls film fights

Why is it some teenage girls film girls getting into fights at school then send it to someone else then they wonder why they get suspended?

A lot of girl are (certainly were) brought up to believe they could do as they wished with complete impunity.

@helenS I was bought up in a much more egalitarian environment, where girls were held responsible for their own actions, just like boys were, and faced the same consequences as they.

@Sharon Interesting. I grew up in a "boys will be boys" culture – they got away with many things we would have been punished for.

@helenS I've heard of that but it wasn't practised by my or my friens' parents. At the other end of the scale, some English schools had stated policies of not punishing girls - Scotish schools were more egalitarian in that respect.

I would guess they got suspended for fighting. At least that's how it was when I was in middle school from 1988 to 1989.

I can't imagine those standards have changed in 30 years.
