I Describe My School Uniform

It was not one of those smart uniforms that you see in the photos.
Our uniform was vile! We had the normal trousers, shirt etc... But the jacket was lime green. It was a truly terrible colour. But even worse, achieving this awful colour somehow damaged the cloth and each jacket would barely last a year before going out of shape.
Even the girls half of the school had a better, darker green.
I've been back to my home town lately and I'm glad to say that all memory of lime green has been wiped from the face of the planet. Things are now a darker, smarter purple kind of colour.
