Back to school

This year I am a Big Sister. I live in a boarding house with twenty younger girls and I look out for them and provide pastoral support. We welcomed them and their parents back yesterday. Then we held a pyjama party to keep them distracted for long enough to forget they were being separated from their parents once more. It was only partly successful 😕

@ABCDEF7 it did, but when things quieten down the uncertainty sets in.

@SW-User I guess it would be good if they didn't get time to think anything else before going to bed.

@ABCDEF7 that's what we aim for, but it's impossible to blank out all thoughts.

@ABCDEF7 We'll take them on a walk to the woods tomorrow.
