Do you think College Professors should be allowed to have sex with their students? ...why or why not?

The reason I am against it because biased treatment from the professors.

They ruined the integry system. Some study hard and yet got low marks but this students excelling all by just having romantic affair with the authority.

Alas, better be professional and never mixed personal affairs and work in the same bowl.

Not while the student is still in the professor's class. They should wait until the student has finished his or her college course.

Both are consenting legal adults, as long as the professor isn't teaching the student in one of the teacher's classes go for it.

Depends on if they are a student of theirs. The separation between teachers and college students is mostly because of societies fixation on religion.

The fact that students will do just about anything to increase their own grades is very real. Yet if there's no influence on grades there simply isn't a problem.

Most Universities have morality clauses in their contracts they make with the Professors. It is not supposed to happen, but it often does. Is it the end of the world? No but I appreciate those professors that actually do have strong ethical and moral boundaries and abide by their contracts.

No. Although I’m not against any of the reasons you listed. Being a professor, tutor, teacher etc, you’re in a position of trust.

Not if they have any professional or academic involvement. Possibly ok in a different department. And not if age gap > 10.

It is a grey area. The professors and the students are adults. But than it falls in to power of authority laws there. It's always a case by case basis

The potential for abuse is simply too great. Trading sex for grades can easily become demanding sex for a passing grade. Wait until you graduate snd then see if you still want him or her.

no. this one professor in the chemistry department is known to fuck for higher grades and it sucks for everybody because if you’re not a good student and also not very attractive well you’re screwed
