The coworker

John and Sarah had been married for ten years. Their marriage, while not perfect, had always seemed solid. They had two children and a comfortable life in the suburbs. But over the past year, John noticed a change in Sarah. She became more distant, spending late nights at work and frequently texting someone on her phone. One evening, John decided to surprise Sarah at her office with dinner, hoping to rekindle some romance. When he arrived, he found her office dark. Confused, he called her, but she didn't pick up. As he was leaving, he noticed her car parked at the far end of the lot. Suspicious, he waited in his car. After an hour, Sarah emerged from the building with Mark, her coworker. They were holding hands and sharing an intimate kiss. John's heart sank. He felt a mix of rage, betrayal, and sadness. The next day, John confronted Sarah. She initially denied everything, but when John revealed he had seen her with Mark, she broke down and confessed. She admitted to the affair, explaining she felt neglected and unappreciated in their marriage.Heartbroken, John filed for divorce. The process was painful for both of them, especially for their children. Sarah tried to reconcile, but the trust was shattered. John couldn't look at her the same way, and every interaction felt tainted by her betrayal. The divorce was finalized a few months later. John focused on rebuilding his life and being there for his children. He took up new hobbies, made new friends, and slowly started to heal. Sarah, filled with regret, ended her relationship with Mark and sought therapy to understand her actions. In the end, both John and Sarah moved on, learning valuable lessons about trust, communication, and the importance of appreciating the ones you love

Now Part 2

After her divorce from John, Sarah felt liberated but also deeply unsettled. Ten years of marriage had left their mark and now she had to find her way in a new life. John, her long-time friend from college, had always supported her, even though his feelings for her had grown over the years.

One evening, when the loneliness became too much, Sarah picked up the phone and called John. "Hey, are you free tonight?" she asked in a voice that sought more than just friendship.

"For you, always," John answered without hesitation. "Come over."

Sarah stood outside John's door, her heart pounding. When he opened it, he greeted her with a warm smile and a hug that lasted longer than usual. "It's good to see you," he said quietly.

Inside, with a glass of wine and dim lights, everything felt familiar. They talked about the old days, laughed about shared memories and swapped stories about what they had missed. The connection between them was stronger than ever, and the chemistry was unmistakable.

As they spoke, John placed a hand on Sarah's knee. The touch was light, but it sent an electric pulse through her body. She looked into his eyes and saw the desire in them, a mirror image of her own. Without saying a word, John leaned forward and kissed her gently. Sarah's breath caught, but she returned the kiss with growing passion.

"Are you sure?" John whispered, his forehead resting against hers.

"Yes," Sarah breathed back, "more than ever."

They stood up and walked into the bedroom, their hands always finding each other. John kissed her neck and slowly pulled down the zipper of her dress. Sarah closed her eyes and let himself be guided by his touch, each kiss, each touch melting away her insecurities.

John's hands slid down her back, unclasping her bra and revealing her breasts. He took his time exploring every inch of her body, covering her with tender kisses and touches. Sarah moaned softly, her fingertips tracing his chest and stomach, muscles twitching under her touch.

As they stood naked in front of each other, John paused and looked at her admiringly. "You are beautiful," he said softly.

Sarah blushed, feeling wanted and loved for the first time in a long time. She pulled him onto the bed, their bodies entwined in a dance of passion. John kissed his way down her body, his lips and tongue finding sensitive spots that quickened Sarah's breath.

As he opened her legs and his tongue touched her most intimate places, Sarah cried out softly. His movements were slow and skillful, each touch bringing her closer to the edge. Her hands gripped his hair, her body tensing as the waves of pleasure overwhelmed her. With a final moan, she found her release, her body trembling with ecstasy.

John moved up to her again, his eyes silently asking permission. Sarah pulled him close, her lips finding his in a kiss that expressed all her longing and passion. She felt him pressing hard and ready against her thigh, and she lifted her hips to take him inside her.

As John entered her, it felt like their bodies fit together perfectly. They moved in rhythmic unison, their thrusts becoming faster and more violent. Sarah's nails scratched down John's back, leaving red marks as her pleasure grew unstoppably.

"Oh John," Sarah gasped, "let's not stop."

"Never," he replied, his voice rough with desire.

With one final, powerful thrust, they exploded together, their cries of pleasure filling the room. They fell next to each other, exhausted and happy, their bodies still entwined. John held Sarah in his arms, gently kissed her temples and whispered, "I love you."

Sarah looked into his eyes, tears of joy and relief rolling down her cheeks. "I love you too, John."

That night they not only found each other, but also found themselves. The years of separation and heartbreak became memories as they looked together toward a future filled with love and passion.

That was very inspiring

1.Extremely sad result in the lack of trust ...
2. More important is lack of communications .
3.Still more important is pullback in lovers unity .
4.Most important is lowering of intercourse passions during lovers cuddling after 10 years and two kids
I suppose it is possible . They say time heals all wounds .i think all relationships are with people you knew in another life and you are just reacounting yourself again .
twistedrope · 26-30, M
What a lovely story. They must be two adults dealing with emotions pretty well, especially john.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
That's probably pretty common.
You did not put a period at the end of your story. Was that intensional? Where do they go from here? If they have kids perhaps they can forgive and get back together for them. It's dicey for sure, but might be possible.

@Tastyfrzz I don't know yet, at some point I'll leave the ending to the reader

The Perfect Man

Once upon a time in a quiet forest cottage there lived a girl with her poor aging mother. After her father had died the girl became the “man of the house” and took on the chores.
There were sheep and chickens and gardening, cutting firewood and getting water from the nearby stream. She liked the work and didn’t mind dressing in work clothes. She loved her mother and took care of her as best she could and trusted her completely even though her mother rarely let her leave the cottage and go to the town many miles away after the father died. He had left them some money so they got by. Many young men came to ask for her hand in marriage as there were not many eligible girls in the forest but her mother was afraid she would be left alone so she would always point out their flaws and in fact she even kept a list of them. As each boy came by they’d either be too poor, too thin, too fat, too vain, too smart, too cheap, too ambitious, too lazy, too much hair, too little hair, too poorly dressed, … And sometimes she would find some small detail and send the men away and add the issue to the list. She would chide and deride them as they glumly slunk down the path through the forest. Her laughter echoing in the trees behind them. The girl didn’t really care one way or the other. She wasn’t really that interested in men and had more than enough to keep her busy. To her a man would be just another mouth to feed and another pair of socks to mend. The list of her mothers’ became many feet in length and had to be rolled up. Consequently the number of men even bothering to come became less and less over time. And if anyone did show up it could take many hours to go through the list. Years went by. Eventually the mother died and the girl was all alone. No one had come by in a long, long time.

After burying her mother she soon became very lonely and leaving the dogs to watch the place she went on a walk down a path and went deeper and deeper into the woods. While on her walk it started to rain a cold bitter rain. The drops stinging her face and mixing with the tears that welled from her eyes. Finally she dropped to the ground by a log and sobbed incessantly. “Are you Ok”, a soft, concerned voice asked. She looked up to see another girl hiking down the path from the other direction towards her. The hiker knelt down and held the shaking cottage girl. Finally they got up and started walking back to the cottage. the girl from the cottage told the hiker of her isolation, her loneliness, her mothers’ death and her sorrow over all of the missed opportunities because of her mothers’ insecurity. “And now I’m too old!”. The hiker told her that she had left her abusive home and could not return.

The walk back was long and they shared many thoughts, dreams, tips, and knowledge of the forest. By the time they got inside it was quite late and they collapsed into the cottage girl’s bed. In the morning the cottage girl awoke to the smells of things baking, a porridge simmering, wild berry jam, and mint tea. The hiker was busy arranging some freshly cut wild flowers when the cottage girl came in. “Wow!” was all the cottage girl could say. The hiker girl was a bit embarrassed, “I’m sorry if I overstepped my bounds but you were so tired and there was nothing around for you to eat so I found a few things. I also cleaned up a bit. The house was spotless. It had never been so neat. “Thanks!” was all the cottage girl could say. They hugged a long time. Then the hiker girl made her sit down and eat.

As they were finishing off the last crumbs with jam the cottage girl said,
“You know, you’d make someone a good wife”.

“If you asked I’d say yes”, said the hiker girl.

“Just a sec”, said the cottage girl smiling and she jumped up and dragged over her mother’s list and put on the old wire rimmed spectacles that had been sitting on a shelf.

Giggling she said, “Ok, I’m just going to go through a few questions that my mother would ask my suitors”. Perching the reading glasses on the tip of her nose and peering over them and pursing her lips while trying not to laugh she started to slowly read the list.
Stopping after each word to examine the girl and look her over.

“Are you a, or are you:

When she finished they were rolling on the floor laughing and gasping for breath.

When they finally gave their last chortle the cottage girl looked at the hiker girl and exclaimed, “According to this …….you’re perfect! ”

And they lived.
