@Coralmist Who cares if it is not meaningful? People stigmatize casual sex because we're still stuck in a social concept of you marry someone at 18 and are with them for life. The world isn't like that.

If you want to get laid, go get laid. You can find meaning another time. Part of self-care is recognizing your needs and treating them seriously.

@CountScrofula That's true too. I could still have something casual ...its just not as fulfilling if we do not have much connection past our bodies. But I DO need to try to identify my needs ...I feel I don't deserve them. I am trying to turn that around..it is tough. Ty for saying it is self care🌺

@CountScrofula You're right...we manipulate and put so much meaning on the idea of DESERVE. Its tough trying to turn that around when you did believe this negative notion on NOT deserving. I might need to fake it till I make it. So glad you and your wife met!!

@CountScrofula @Coralmist It isn't even necessarily true that casual sex is not meaningful. A few months ago I invited another crossdresser to my hotel room one afternoon while I was on holiday in Newquay, Cornwall. We had an hour and a half of the steamiest sex I have had in a long time. It was preceded and followed by intelligent conversation, It was definitely not un-meaningful. On the other hand I have had a couple of assignations that were so meaningless that they might just as well have never happened.

You don't have to become life partners or even ever meet again to appreciate that magical afternoon.
