I Remember My First Kiss
I was hanging out with a friend, it was just out of highschool and I was excited to get on the first boyfriend train. I wasn't interested but he was the first to give me that kind of attention, so I went for it.
Anyway he had a job at 7/11 that was owned by his parents so I joined him during his shift. We were in the cooler restocking drinks, I was in the middle of saying something when he just kissed me. My mouth was open and so were my eyes, it wasn't romantic or expected, it wasn't great, neither were the kisses afterwards; which is why for the longest time I was grossed out by tongue. We didn't "date" for long.
My partner now our first kiss was hilarious, sweet and definitely unforgettable in the greatest way. It was our fourth date, we were saying good night, we hugged in his car before I got out. Walking around to the drivers side he rolled down the window and we continued to chat. I leaned in for another hug and I kissed him lightly on his lips, as I pulled away I smacked my head on his window. He looked surprised and a little dazed.
With a smile I quickly said good night again, feeling my face turn red as I high tailed it into my truck. Sitting down I laughed at myself before rubbing the back of my head. It was a simple kiss but I drove home on a cloud that evening with a silly stupid smile on my face. A smile that is now permanent every time I think of him and every time we kiss.
