sex ruined because the woman stops and says 'I want you to cum inside me, but do you have a condom'?

For context, I'm 54, and I can't realistically date any woman younger than 40 otherwise I'd be labelled as some sort of wierd sexual predator due to the age gap.

So I'm getting jiggy with a woman say around the same age as me, and as we're becoming one singular being enjoying the experience she says she wants me to cum inside her but wants me to wear a condom...

That blows me away (not orgasmically) and destroys the moment.

This has actually happened to me and it was so out of left field and I never ever even considered something like that would be asked, so when you calm down from your orgasm (s) I'd like to know your views?

Because I'm not a 'sex on first date' person I basically don't have any or have any with me on dates, and being my age and dating very beautiful (hint!) intelligent women in my age range I don't know if condoms are necessary or required or expected. It's part of the 'secret code' of mature adult dating I can't wrap my head around.

Now before you goody two-shoes jump and and say I'm being disrespectful for even considering this issue like it should be a given that every man always has condoms on his person regardless of the situation, I don't.

I fully get that there are possible issues arising from things like STI's, etc. but ffs I'm not talking two high school, or uni, or 20-something randy office workers. I'm taking 50+ mature age adults.

How do you work condoms into a sexual experience such that either one (or both) parties doesn't feel offended or smacked with something unexpected.

Do women automatically expect any man they get with to have, and use, the things?

I date so little and have dated so little in my adult years I've hardly ever had or used condoms and they are very much a taboo topic.

You can date someone 30 that’s not wrong

@Funlov Maybe, but it's the perceptions people have that a mid-50's guy is dating a mid-30's girl, and what each is wanting out of the arrangement, But if I was to date a woman in her 30's (or even 20's) the issue about protection is quite different in terms of pregnancy, though the STI thing is always lingering.

@zonavar68 don’t worry about what people think. As long as both are happy that’s all it matters. I’m a little younger than you not much I would date somebody 30.

@Funlov Maybe I would too, but that requires finding a woman genuinely interested in a relationship who isn't trying to get at my money (lol) or get pregnant from me and get at my money that way (lol), or wants a sugar daddy (lol). I am very suspicious of any much younger woman expressing any sort of interest in me.

@zonavar68 here’s the thing I don’t know about the community or anything where you live but me I’m a business owner. I have probably 15 or 20 women that work for me that are in their 30s 2930 they own their own homes if you’re 30 years old you doing on your own home there’s something wrong I’m not judging I’m just saying so not all women or men or gold diggers take a risk just be cautious

@Funlov I don't own a home, or have money, or any investments. Just my shiftwork job, my wonderful 5 y/o daughter, a rented house, and a safe life. That's a whole lot of 'red flag' for almost every available woman because I don't fit the profile of a desperate and dateless part-time single dad.
