Fling while married that got me pregnant

I married my boyfriend from school, as far as everyone has ever seen we've been perfect for each other but one weekend when my husband was away for work I went out with some people from work and made a series of drunken and out of character decisions and ended up having sex with a friend from work.

My husband showed incredible strength and maturity and forgave me, something I'm endlessly grateful for, but everything is so very different now. No one sees it because we put up a front, we still look like that perfect, high school sweetheart couple but now there is a third wheel.

My friend from work wanted to support his child and be involved as far as I would let him, something I couldn't help but respect, and we now coparent.

I was wondering if anyone else has found themselves in this sort of situation so thought I'd reach out on here. Happy to chat to anyone, hope to hear from you soon :)

If this story is true then I’d honestly say that you don’t deserve such a man, your husband that is!

I hope you’re able to sort it out soon!

@IamBack I've said very openly to him that I don't deserve him.

@xAbbiex I hope you figure it out soon

@IamBack there's not really anything to figure out. Things are functioning for us, I was more reaching out to see if anyone was in a similar situation just so that it didn't feel quite so isolating.

@xAbbiex it’s a very unique position to be in, I’m sure other people have a similar situation but it’s not very common I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

@IamBack I'm not expecting to find anyone, more just hoping. Just nice having someone to talk to who understands.

@xAbbiex well sorry if I sounded a bit judgmental at first, I’m happy to have a conversation now that I understand the situation a bit better

@IamBack it's ok. What you said isn't wrong, I fully agree and I judge myself for what I've done as well.

@xAbbiex it’s okay, at least you own what you did and being apologetic, that makes a huge difference
