@Subsumedpat i wish I had the confidence of a mediocre man.

@FoxyQueen It is true, a woman over concerns herself with does this dress fit right, does it make my ass look too big and becomes all self conscious. The man standing at the front porch watching the people walk by wearing a stained t-shirt and colors that don't match, as he looks out over his beer belly he is thinking they all want me.

@Subsumedpat Most women think:

Is what I'm wearing going to provoke an attack or unwanted advances?

Am I going to be safe?

Am I going to make it home alive and unhurt?

What personal weapon do I need to take with me?

Are there going to be lights around so I'm not walking in the dark?

Do I have to worry about my drink/food while I'm there?

If only women could only think about how they look for a night out.

@FoxyQueen That is too complicated, need to just take a man with you to cover all that.

@Subsumedpat It'd be better if men weren't the #1 killer of women, then, we wouldn't have to worry about being protected.
