Do Family, Friends, Co-Workers know you're into BDSM?

I was wondering if anyone close to you knows that you are into bdsm? How did they find out? Do you share your experiences with them?

Once upon a time I was at a convention with a female business associate who happens to be vanilla in nature. Somehow the topic of handcuffs with sex came up and she asked me if I ever did that? Then I shared with her my life as a domme. I told her about a few of my subs who are into it. We then talked and joked about some of the stories I shared.

A few know or at least suspect. There's one couple in particular that I built furniture for their "play room".

@VeronicaJane Yeah, The wife called me up one day wanting to discuss a bed. The story goes she walked into a furniture store to look at beds and asked the salesman if a particular bed was strong enough to swing from. He says "no, we don't have anything like that", she replies "Ok, I guess I'll have to call my cabinetmaker". So I built her a bed with a frame around the top strong enough to hang her husband from. Then there was a stand for about a 12 channel electrosex machine ( picture tens machine on steroids). Then there was a bondage chair that folded out into multiple positions..... There was a discussion about an adult size playpen/ changing table that never got built, I guess they must have been moving into ABDL kinda stuff.

At the time they had a playroom in a building a couple hundred yards from their house. The bed eventually got moved to the main house and the play room was repurposed for something else. Not sure what happened with the rest of their toys.
