Some years back i stopped in Dan Diego on my return from a work trip to Singapore. The jet lag coming east is horrible so i asked my friend from high school.if I could crash at her place and we could catch up. She had been going through some hard stuff. Divorce and a reduction in force. She did IT stuff so finding a new job was not going to be hard but she did need help with some bills and i assisted. Her two kids were grown up and out of the house. Anyway, ...she met me at the airport and ran up to me crying. I held her for some time and then we headed on down to her truck and she took me to her apartment. We talked for a bit but then i had to crash. She had me use her bed. I was asleep but woke up when she padded into the bedroom. By her outline in the window i could tell she was not wearing a top. She got into bed next to me. I rubbed her back and she kissed me and snuggled closer and with only lite persuasion kept me there for the next two days with only snacks, water, and bathroom breaks for which even those were together. After the two days we went out for lunch and then she took me back to the airport for my trip back home. I was a single dad so moving to CA was not possible. Her last words to me that day were thanking me for making her feel so cherished.
