Deep meditation can make you forget that past. By deep I mean deep. You have leave count of time, hours or days.

@Boeing Sometimes you need to forget something to return back to life. Meditation are of different levels. The process starts with separating your mind from your conscious. That itself solves many problems if done properly. When you practice regularly for long durations, you learn to live like that. You use your mind, and not getting used by your mind & senses. 🙏
