That's sad. I've always been someone who loves. So when I was in grade 5, accused of butting in front of my friend and another kid asked me to meet him at the "rock" for a fight. I knew I had to say, yes. Otherwise, I would be bullied more. I went and said to him directly in front of others, you can punch me but if I never punch back you will be seen as the bully. I surprised myself, so in a way I do agree it's easier to kick and punch but have never chosen that path myself.

@thewindupbirdchronicles what a story! What did he do ?
I was mostly referring to this funny and somewhat innocent play between boys and girls in early days...:)

@being Oh, I wondered where it was born from your story. Then I would say, let that innocent play happen.
How did my story end? He walked away without every throwing a punch at me. And while this was closing on the end of the school year, I never felt bullied again that year while there were many days left in that school year.

I looked them in the eye and said lets play in the sandbox. 😊

At that age I knew how does a kick or punch feels. But even today I don't know what does love exactly feels like. Even today it's difficult for me to say the 3 magical words.

Nowadays you don't even have to look. You'll just be playing handball without even knowing you're playing.😂
