it depends on what you mean by 'older men'. as I understand it the normal range of a being interested in guys a couple years older tends to be a maturity sort of thing. if you mean 18-24 year olds who (at least say they) want guys 20+ years older, I think that's just a combination of gold digging, unrealistic expectations, and salesmanship off the rails. but I'm kinda speculating about all that.
