It only happened once for me that I know of where a guy had a crush on me at work. He was a really nice lawyer and we developed a good friendship over a few years. We often went for lunch together and I could talk to him about anything. but I didn’t realize he liked me more than a friend until one day when he asked me out for dinner. I did go but I felt awkward about dating someone I worked with so I told him as much. We are still friends today, 30 years later
