outside of a reason like - death of relative… Is ‘it’s a busy time’ a good enough excuse?

@Jennster so it's not like he was ignoring you. Tell him you miss him and enjoy getting his messages. Communication is key in any relationship. If you are considering legitimately ending your relationship over such a small thing, you may want to reconsider if you should be in the relationship in the first place.
