"just keep trying harder" and "playing hard to get" is a myth perpetuated by stories and movies that encourage the idea that harassment and not listening to a no is ok as long as she eventually breaks down and falls in love with you at the end of the movie. Because then all is forgiven.
But the truth is...it's not ok. Always respect someone saying no.
Because it's the right thing to do.
And in the off chance she is being dishonest and wants you and is lying to you...you probably don't want to get with someone like that anyway. Be with someone who wants you and shows you that.
