straight guy here. I am a LBTQIA advocate and am cool with men kissing. I wish I lived in a country (USA) where gay men and women felt as comfortable kissing in public as hetrosexual couples do.

On the top part of your question, it feels like you male friend may have been thinking of kissing in terms of sex? the devil is in the details though. You should have asked him what he means by wierd. Also in what context is it weird ? A quick smooth at a restaurant on a date is different than kissing that looks like forplay in pubic.

I think you may be on to something when you suggest men who are comfortable with their own sexuality may be more ok with two men kissing. But because I am comfy with my sexuality I am not sure if that is a true statement. I am unable to relate to that idea on a personal level.

@Bify123 maybe the case of not being judgemental in either sense being broad minded and accepting for it is what it is 🤷‍♂️

I am a LGTQ.... advocate, but I still feel a bit odd when I see two men kissing passionately. Two women don't bother me. Maybe a shrink can tell me why I feel that way.
