Should I give up on dating

I think maybe romantic love isn’t meant for me, I don’t think I will ever trust a man. I know love exists, I’ve seen it, maybe because I’ve seen it I want it. But maybe I don’t really know what IT is. Maybe the love I see, is the only love I’ll get. Maybe the experience of love in my mind doesn’t exist. For now, I will focus on God, family and money, and helping those in need. This world is just ugh, at times.

I think perhaps you might have built this up to be something so big that it’s making it more difficult. Keep dating but try not to freak yourself out that each guy you date could be “the one”. The guy for you is out there, but he’s not going to make his appearance if you push too hard.

Despite all the dates I went on, I met the man I married playing a game of pool on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Things just happen out of the blue.
