That is an excellent question.
Cheating is difficult to define though..If you are "with someone",yet both legally single,then either of you are vulnerable to your love being stolen away.
I say providing the person AT LEAST ends with you before embarking off with another,then perhaps at least they have done the "right thing",no matter the hurt.The worst cheating is two-timing,like having breakfast at home then getting dinner somewhere else,before coming home to supper...

@wonkywinky I think cheating is easy to define. If you're committed to someone then you cut ties with every love interest you once had and focus on that one person. When you care about someone you do everything to keep them happy not hurt them by giving your love to other lovers.
