Honestly think it's because the most attractive of people have a lot of options and so it is hard for them to just settle for one.

@SW-User It all comes down to self control. If you love something would you let just anybody touch it? I bet not. Therefore I think if you love yourself you wouldn't just let anybody touch you. Picture a fruit at the market place that everyone touches. How does it look after being touched and felt by 20 or so people?
