I have no fear of death, it brings no sorrow

But how bitter will be this last farewell
For you are beautiful, I have loved you dearly
More dearly than the spoken word can tell

Danny my friend, you are so right. That is, if you're referring to heaven. I wrote about this yesterday when my beloved Joanie was carried away by the angels to heaven, to be with her Savior. Though death naturally has us missing those who go before us, it's "sting" is completely taken out, by the promise and fulfillment of Heaven when God's children go home, along with the joy that awaits us, seeing our Beautiful Savior, Redeemer, Friend, Hope of Heaven, and those that we love, and shall reunite with one day. We are celebrating our family member's release from hospice and all that horrible pain and suffering, replaced with her new transformation and place in heaven. Praise the Lord! She is finally free. And this is our hope eternal and good news of the Gospel, that one day, we too, shall see God in all his glory and live with him eternally. It doesn't get better than that.
