Anyone else feel like they've been left on the shelf? I'll probably never find anyone :(

@KuroNeko Normally I choose my thoughts and strive to be kind to myself and positive but I've been single for a very very very very long time so it's hit me hard again today that despite my efforts and living my life as best I can I've not met anyone available who likes me back so it's hard not to have those thoughts.

@WeeWeeWeeAllTheWayHome Try focussing on what you love to do. People turn up when you aren't desperately seeking them.

@KuroNeko I do know what you are saying and that's what I've been doing for so long. I've not even been desparately seeking anyone, just focusing on my interests and achieving my goals. I've just reached a point where loneliness and the desire to connect with someone has been an unmet need and the desert is dry.

@WeeWeeWeeAllTheWayHome We can't make these things happen unfortunately. We just need to be kind to ourselves and not speak like we are defined by having or not having a romantic relationship in our lives. Do you have friendships?

@KuroNeko I have friends I meet up with, I'm involved with amatuer dramatics, and I'm social with work colleagues.
